Utilization of Plant Residues - Rape Straw and Forest Residues - Sawdust
Individuals involved in agriculture or forestry are well aware that these sectors produce significant amounts of waste wood and forestry residues. Much of this material is either discarded or incinerated, causing environmental harm. In an entrepreneurial context and as a method to recycle the abundant resources provided by nature, we propose viewing these raw materials as potential sources of income. By utilizing a sawdust straw pellet baler or a pelletizing plant, agricultural waste or a pellet production line comprising forestry waste can be transformed into finished products at reduced costs.
Pellets can vary in size, ranging from 4 to 14 mm in diameter and 2 to 5 cm in length, with a bulk density of up to 750 kg per cubic meter, and a pelletized density reaching up to 1350 kg per cubic meter.
Typically, pellets are produced from vegetable waste or forestry residues through the use of a pellet press, where the raw material is compressed in the mold channels at temperatures of up to 20°C. These pellets serve effectively as fuel for automated heating systems, successfully replacing both natural gas and coal.
Another notable advantage of straw pellets is their application as bedding for various animals, including chickens, horses, rabbits, and cats. Alfalfa pellets can also be pelletized in conjunction with grains or other feed formulations. This is beneficial because storing pellets requires less space compared to bales, and pelletized alfalfa can be blended with other ingredients (such as wheat, barley, oats, and corn), creating a cost-effective and valuable feed solution that can be mixed directly on the farm rather than at a commercial feed factory.
Our company operates in the European market, providing solutions for the commercialization of prepress pellets, pellet production machinery, and production lines for feed and grains. We offer comprehensive services including delivery, assembly, service, automation of entire pellet lines, post-warranty support, and spare parts provision.
